  23. Um, come to think of it, I think the TWIN docs say it'll cut down to 8.3 
  24. when doing an IBM transfer.  Since TWIN won't let you copy an entire 
  25. directory tree (at least I couldn't figure it out...), I just LHAed 
  26. everything, sent it over TWIN, then un-LHAed it with Dan's LHANTx86.  
  27. Worked like a charm, an kept the long file names.

  29. I've also tried a file system-type thing, but couldn't get it to connect 
  30. (PC2Amiga).  It treats the other machine like a hard drive.  You can even 
  31. start LHA-ing files on the Amiga, and make the IBM's drive the 
  32. destination.  Too bad I couldn't get it to work... anyone know of another 
  33. FS-type program to do this?  I MUCH prefer file systems over TWIN-type 
  34. systems (would be nice to process frames from, say a LW render through 
  35. the IBM, then back to a Flyer clip without having to copy everything to 
  36. and from the IBM).  I mean -- short of getting a Network card. :)
